摘要： engine mounting system comprising two sets of rails along which the motorcan move in case of impact. A first set of rails (10, 11) is mounted longitudinally in thevehicle, its innermost portions curving towards the ground to prevent penetration of theengine into the cabin. A second set of rails (52, 54) placed perpendicular to the firstseries, allowing a lateral displacement of the motor and the first set of rail. The secondset of rails may be curved downward to lengthen the stroke of the engine. Springs (30,32, 56, 58) are opposed to longitudinal and transverse movements, and also serve todampen engine vibrations. The two sets of rails can be used in combination with buffingarmortisseurs attached directly to the engine. In another embodiment, the motor unit iscoupled via pins (94, 96) with integrated support to the frame (80) of the vehicle by thecushion pins (84) placed obliquely. The lugs move along a path (90) allowing lateralmovement of the motor and the pistons run the engine under the passengercompartment.
