摘要：Recording and reproducing methods of compressed data obtained bycompressing continuous data in time base which are suitable for application to data-recording and reproducing for disc-like recording media especially. Data recording isperformed as follows. A predetermined amount of compressed data stored in a memorymeans are read out continuously to record them in a recording medium. After that, untila predetermined amount of new compressed data are recorded in the memory meansand read out, data recording is stopped. Data reproducing is performed as follows. Until
a predetermined amount of data compressed in time base are read out from a recordingmedium in which compressed data are recorded and the outputting of the data expandedin time base is completed, data reproducing is stopped.
