摘要：The present invention discloses a security system and method. An embodimentof the present invention provides a security system comprising: detecting means fordetecting the presence of an intruder in a predetermined area or a plurality of
predetermined areas; and communicating means for communicating via satellite signals
to a processing center the detection of the presence of the intruder in the
predetermined area or in one or more of the plurality of predetermined areas; whereinthe satellite signals encode data alerting the processing center to the presence of saidintruder in said predetermined area or said one or more of the plurality ofpredetermined areas.
