摘要：A method of monitoring a system requiring periodic measurements of aplurality of points of the system, includes the steps of identifying deterministic points inthe system as those points which are determinative of one or more determined points inthe system,collecting measurements from the deterministic points of the system, storingthe measurements, calculating a rate of change for each of the deterministic point valueusing previously stored measurements, calculating a rate of change of determined pointsfrom the rate of change of the deterministic points and using the rate of change valuesfor deterministic points and determined points to estimate when an event will occur inrelation to each point.
