形容词、副词的比较级和最高级用法
大多数形容词和副词有三个等级： 原级、比较级和特别提醒：
(1)以形容词+ly构成的副词要在前面加 more，most
最高级。
1、原级即原型。
2、比较级，表示“较 ……”或“更 ……一些”。3、最高级表“最 ……”。
一、形容词、副词比较级和最高级的构成。
比较级和最高级有规则变化和不规则变化两种。
（一）规则变化
★★1.单音节以及少数双音节的词后面直接加-er , -est
tall taller tallest
★★2. 以不发音的e结尾只加-r，-st
nice nicer nicest
★★3. 以一个元音加一个辅音字母结尾的单音的辅音字
母，再加-er，-est

特别提醒：由ing分词和ed分词演变过来的形容词(talent—
★elder仅用于同辈之间的排行。“年长的”。如: elder brother(哥哥/
talented)只能加more或most来表示它们的比较级和最高级。
兄长)；elder sister（姐姐）；elder boy（长子）；elder sister（长女）。在有than的句子中，只能用older。

（二） 不规则变化

原级变成比较级,er结尾要牢记；规则变化要牢记，特殊规则有三
条：1．若是以e来结尾，只加r就可以；2. 两辅（辅音字母）夹一元（元音字母）结尾的，双写末尾的辅音，最后再加er； 3. 辅音字母若加y，要先把y变成i，最后再加er。（还有一条要注意：形容词 + ly结尾的，根本不合这一条。） 若不符合这三条，直接就加er。其余双音、多音节,词前加more就可以；不规则词没几个,它们需要特殊记。总共就有这五组：好坏多少加上远。
变最高级,也容易, 原级后加est, 规则类同比较级, 提醒一点便可以；其余双音、多音节,词前加most就可以。还有一点要留意, 最高级前要用the；若是副词最高级, 用不用the皆可以。
特别提醒： ★ little-less-least用来修饰不可数名称，若修饰可数名称复数则用few-fewer- fewest;

二、句子构成：
1.当两者比较时，用句型：
“甲 +谓语 +比较级 +than +乙” 译为“甲比乙…” 如: Tom is taller than Kate. 汤姆比凯特高。 2.当三者或以上比较时，用句型：
“主语 +谓语 +the+形容词最高级 +单数名词 +in/of短语”译为“…是…中最…的”。 如: Tom is the tallest in his class.
=Tom is taller than any other student in his class. =Tom is the tallest of all the students in his class. 注：副词最高级前用不用the皆可以。 如：I jump (the) farthest in my class. 我是我们班跳得最远的。 3. 当两者比较，有下列两种句型：
（1）表示甲乙两者在某一方面相同时，用肯定句型：
“甲+谓语+as/so+（形/副）原级+as+乙”译为 “甲和乙一样…”
