摘要：A method and system for significantly increasing the density of particulates on asubstrate includes disposing a particulate material, such as fibers or abrasive material,onto a surface of the substrate, whereby the particles adhere to the substrate. Thesubstrate is then exposed to conditions sufficient to cause the surface area, on which theparticulate material is disposed, to diminish, thereby significantly increasing the density ofthe particulate material. The system includes a support on which the substrate is
disposed, apparatus for disposing the particulate material in the substrate and apparatusfor causing the surface on which the particulate material is disposed to significantlydiminish.
