Love is “L” “O” “V” “E”
What is love? Different people have different ideas about love. Some people think love is a situation in which two people in love trust each other totally no matter what happen; some people think love is that the two people have the same goal in career, the same hobby in life, the same taste in food an so on. And some people think love is like Titanic where Jack was willing to sacrifice his life foe Rose. For me, love is “L” “O” “V” “E”.
“L” represents listen. In loving relationship, two people in love should listen to each other’s need and try to their best to help each other. When one of the pair in love feels sad and wants to tell the other his or her feelings the other one should be a good listener to listen his or her sadness and help him or her go through the sadness. Listening is one way to love each other.
“O” represents only. Love is very different from friendship. One person can have many friends. But she or he can only have one boyfriend or girlfriend. Love is only, like which is the same as that the fish belongs to the sea and can’t belong other things. If you have a girlfriend or boyfriend, then to you, she or he is the best treasured object in the world. She or he is your only love. For example, everyone knows the butterfly lovers. In this story, zhu yingtai didn’t accept Ma wencai’s engagement, because she didn’t love Ma wencai. To her, Liang shangbo is the only
man who she loves. So she can give up her life for the only love. “Only” is a promise for two people in love.
“V” represents valued. Two people in love should respect each other. If you are in love, you should value your partner’s advice, suggestion, ideas and so on. Love is based on equal relationship. Both of two people in love shouldn’t make themselves the dominate role and let the opposite side obey totally. If one do so, his love can not last long. There are some Chinese idioms showing the importance of respect in love. For example, Xiang Ru Yi Mo means helping each other when both are in humble and Ju An Qi Mei means husband and wife treating each other with courtesy.
“E” represents excuse. Everyone will make mistakes. No one is sage. In loving relationship, some people will make some small mistakes. Some of the partners will blame them. However, a good partner’s will not blame her or his lover. Instead, she or he will excuse her or his partner’s mistakes and comfort her or his partner. I believe excuse and comfort are very beneficial for love at that moment.
Love is the prettiest thing in the colorful world. It can make two people who didn’t know each other before they first met each other but they may get steady for a lifetime. It makes the world become more interesting.
Now, I’m also waiting for my love’s coming. I believe one day, my
Mr. Right will ride a white horse to pick up me. Then, I will dress beautifully and be the happiest girl. I will love him by listening; I will treat him as my only love; I will value him and I will excuse hum when he makes some mistakes.
