A limit should be put on private cars

With the development of automobile industry, the number of private cars is increasing rapidly in the country. Therefore, some people suggest that a limit should be put on the number of private cars. Whereas some people still regard the private car as wealth and freedom. As far as I concern, I agree with the former proposal.

First of all, traffic congestions are the major problem in many cities as a result of private cars. In our daily life, divers are always complaining that the roads are becoming more and more crowed. In fact, it is the increasing number of private cars that gives rise to the problem, and even sometimes it may create car accidents. If no effective measures are taken, people will spend much more time and energy on the way to work. As a result, the situation will be worsened and eventually people become victims of it. So it shows that we should put a limit on private cars.

Second, private cars create more serious environmental pollution. Although private cars play a vital part in our society, they also lead more pollution problems. In ten years from now, car pollution from cars in many Chinese cities will be out of control of the number of private cars is not limited right now.

With more and more private cars produced and used in the street, our environment is faced with dangers. That the quality of air is endangered. So it must be guaranteed that we have the right to own a clean air world.

The last but not least, we should mention the fact that the expense to drive a private car is not inexpensive. The prices of gasoline and repairs, the cost for yearly tax and the expense of insurance coverage are rising constantly. Hence people should think over these questions, and then decide to purchase a private car or not.

Taking into account the traffic, the environment as well as the expense of private cars, it is time that we should limit the number of private cars to create a harmonious society and healthy ways of living.
