摘要：A method of advanced caller identification (ACI) wherein a caller selects whatinformation they wish to forward to a receiver. This method allows the caller to providethe receiving party with information regarding the caller's identity before the call isanswered. Therefore, a caller may provide personal details, priority rating, contactdetails, graphic displays or audible tones or music to the receiving party. Graphic displaysmay be in the form of logos, adverts or animated graphics. The advanced caller
identification (ACI) method is flexible so as to enable it to be incorporated with presentand newly developing communication systems including systems that pull informationalready stored receivers. The system is also designed such that it may be employed byboth business and individual users.
