摘要：A tool holder (15) having radially movable jaws or gripping members (11) definean axial tool shank receiving passage therebetween. A tool (27) having a shank portion(28) which may be received in the shank receiving passage of the tool holder (15). Thejaws or gripping members (11) and the shank portion (28) of the tool define cooperatingmale and female retaining means (29, 30) for releasably retaining the shank portion ofthe tool within the shank receiving passage of the tool holder. The female retainingmeans comprises an annular channel or groove (29) for receiving the male retainingmeans (30) therein.
