Lesson 13 Summer Is Coming!

一、教学目标: (一) 知识目标: 1.听说读写fan.。

2.会简单描述每一个季节树的不同特征,并说出自己在不同的季节喜欢什么活动。 (二) 能力目标:

提高看图说话、运用英语的能力。 (三) 情感目标:

进一步激发学生学习英语的浓厚兴趣,培养学生乐于与他人交往和交流的精神。 二、重点、难点:

重点:掌握本课的四会单词。 难点:会描述自己喜欢的季节。 三、教具准备: 录音机、多媒体、鼓、花 四、教学过程: (一)、问候 (二)、谈话导入

T: Today is 25 degrees. The weather hotter and hotter .Why ? 找同学回答,引出课题。

(三)、自主参与,导入复习

由课题复习旧知识,引出课文。首先通过问“What season is it now?”出示图片,教师带领大家讨论关于春天你知道些什么。学生们在无形

之中就描述了weather,trees ,和I like to do(这样可以贯穿全文,学生们不但可以描述季节,也可以说出在这个季节喜欢做什么,并且教师给出的图片中包含了树木的变化,有的同学可能会描述出来,这些都为后面的内容做了铺垫。)后边出示夏秋冬的图片,教学方法同春天。 (四)、创设情境,引入新知

1. 在学生描述四季的同时教师板书出四季天气的变化,带同学们特色朗读,激起兴趣。再重新将四季树木的变化单独归纳出来,重点讲解What happens to trees in different seasons?

2.让同学们熟悉四季和树木的变化之后Draw the trees in different seasons。边放动画边

画画,限定时间,视频停止画画结束。巩固重点,强课堂气氛。画完之后小组互相检查,和描述树木的变化。

3.Summer fun .教师根据自己的照片讲解My summer fun 。然后通过播放录音的形势让同学们总结出Jenny ′s summer fan 和Li Ming′s summer fun 。同时也复习了第三人称He /She likes to do因为都是简单的短语同学们很容易听出来。教师在根据第一人称进行讲解。并讲解四会单词fan.

4.播放本课视频,复习本课所学内容。视频不但锻炼了同学们的听力,还对本课内容进行了翻译讲解。 (五)、学以致用,知识升华

Talk and write and play a game.对本课内容通过表格的形式进行总结,并采用了击鼓传花的形式,活跃课堂气氛。

(六)、课后作业

Lesson 11 Work hard!

一.Teaching Objectives and Demands:

1.Student can understand read say and practice the dialogue of this lesson .

2.Student can understand read say and practice the drill: How many minutes do you___?

3.Student can understand read and say the following phrases: wash clothes, watch TV, read books, play sports and do your homework.

二.The Importance and The Difficult point: The importance: Practice the drill. The difficult point: Practice the dialogue. 三.Teaching Aids:

some pictures, some vocabulary cards and one tape-recorder 四.Allocation of time: one course 五.Teaching steps:

Step 1.Organizing the teaching

2.Say the chant “Everyone”. Step 2. Revision

Review “minutes” “hours” “days” “weeks” “months” and “years” with a game. Ask for a volunteer to recite the words in order as the teacher point to them. Step 3.Key concepts: high low homework 1.

Introduce:

a.Demonstrate “high” “low” with actions. Use objects the Ss know and hold them high and low. Ask for volunteers to do some actions.

b.Use a puppet to demonstrate “homework”. Give the puppet some “homework” to do. Act out a dialogue with the puppet and then act one out with a volunteer.

T: (To the puppet) This evening, please write a story. Bring your story to school tomorrow. The story is your homework.

P:Okay! I am going to work hard on my homework.

Is it time to go home?

T:Yes!It’s ___ (time). See you tomorrow. 2.Student book :

a.Play the audiotape as the Ss follow along their books.

3.Practice: Divide the class into small groups. Ask each group to make a living picture for “working hard” at school, sports or home. ’ activity:

1. Chant “Everyone”. 2.Review words with a drill. 3.Puppet demonstration. 4.Imitation.

5.Group work to practice “work hard”. 七.Blackboard:
