摘要：The invention concerns DNA encoding prolylendopeptidase, hybrid vectorscontaining such DNA, transformed hosts capable of expressing prolylendopeptidase, aprocess for the production of prolylendopeptidase including the steps of: culturing ahost organism transformed with an expression vector including a DNA coding forprolylendopeptidase and optionally, recovering the produced prolylendopeptidase; anda process for the production of a C-terminal amidated peptide from two precursors,including the steps of: placing the two precursors in contact with a prolylendopeptidasein a medium to convert the precursor peptides to the C-terminal amidated peptide, andrecovering the resulting C-terminal amidated peptide.
