It Pays to Be Honest
It’s generally acknowledged that people are supposed to be honest, whereas, when people are in some situations that may be embarrassing to tell the truth, the majority will easily tend to be dishonest. From my personal perspective, most people just take it for granted that to be honest is somehow a kind of good quality, unfortunately, easier said than done, when it comes to themselves, on the contrary, they violate their principle and ignore the significance of being honest that it’s not only a good quality but also a reflection of inner self-cultivation. Consequently, there are an increasing number of phenomena that people are often dishonest to other people in the society. In summary, we should bear it in mind that it pays to be honest in that it does benefit each other. Only when everyone recognizes the significance of being honest, our society can be harmonious and happy as well as warm. In conclusion, what really matters is that people should be honest.
