二. 单元教材分析

本单元的主要教学内容是“根据特征认人”，是在第一单元所学句型Who’s  that…? He’s/She’s…基础上进行的拓展学习。本单元的教学重点是让学生根据人的外貌特征及穿着打扮来认识人，从而掌握新句型Who’s  the…with…?He’s/She’s…， 及相关的家庭成员、身体部位、颜色，服装等类单词。前几册我们已学了部分相关类别的单词，教学时教师可以用以旧带新的方法来教本单元的新单词，还可以结合以前所学的内容，系统整理这些单词。

Step 3   Look, read and say

1. Look at this picture of John’s family. Who are they?

家庭成员和人体部位的单词，在前均已出现过，学生在听说方面已熟悉，教师重点在读、写方面的指导。教师可利用B部分的家谱图学习家庭成员单词。

2. 要求学生仔细看图，观察六位成员的服装特点，并试着用The one in the …is John’s …的句式来介绍John一家，复习巩固家庭成员的单词。
3. 教师指着自己身体，说：This is my mouth. I have a small mouth.

These are my eyes.  I have two big eyes. 学习人体部位的单词，同时学会如何去描述自己的外貌特征。

Step 4  Ask and answer

1. 先用学生来描述和对话。Who’s  the…with…? He’s/She’s…

2. 游戏：教师用英语描述Who’s  the…with…?，让学生互相观察，猜出他/她是谁He’s/She’s…

3. 打开书，结合书上图片，教师与一学生做个示范，然后学生间谈论。
