 Step1 Warm up

课前反复播放此歌曲:< Head , shoulders, knees and toes>

  1. Free talk

T: Good morning, class. How are you?

Ss: I’m fine. Thank you.

T What’s her/his name?Ss: He’s/She’s….

  1. Enjoy a song< Head , shoulders, knees and toes>

Step2  Presentation

学习课题

1.Learn some new words.

T: Boys and girls, do you like this song?

S: Yes, I do.

T: But can you read these words? (PPT出示歌曲里唱到的单词eyes ,ears, mouth, nose教授的同时,师进行板书)

2.Play a game:‘Touch your…’ (在此游戏中教学单词hair)

3.导入课题

Step A Warm up

2.Let`s review  

The teacher shows a girl doll and some sentences.

Her hair is ____.  Her eyes are ____.

Her nose and mouth are_____.

All the students complete them.

Ss: Her hair is long . Her eyes are big .Her nose and mouth are small .

 Step B. Presentation and practice

1.Play a game : Say some opposites

T: Now, let`s play a game. If I say big, you say small.

T: Big

S1: Small     T: Long

S2:Short.     T: Fat

Then the teacher shows the answer.

T: Now I say fat , you can say thin .

Ues the same way to learn the other words:

fat   thin         tall  short  

2. Try to say

The teacher shows a picture of Yao Ming.

T: Who is he ?   Ss: He is Yao Ming .

Show some sentences:

Look ! He is Yao Ming .He is tall. He is thin. His hair is short. His eyes are small. His nose is big. His mouth and ears are big , too.

T: Can you describe your partner ?

His/Her hair is short/long.

His/Her eyes are small/big.

His/Her nose is big/small.

His/Her mouth and ears are big/small .

All the students have a try .

Step C Consolidation

  1. Let`s learn

The teacher shows two dolls then introduce :

T: They are two dolls. This is a girl doll, this is a boy doll.

Look , her hair is long , his hair is short.

All the students read the new words: long   short

T: Her eyes are big , his eyes are small.

All the students read the new words: big  small

2Try to say

T: Look at the / this doll. Can you say something ?

The teacher shows the picture, then shows two sentences .

T: His / Her hair is ….

His / Her eyes are…..

All the students try to say some sentences .

Then show their sentences .

3 . Talk about your pictures

The teacher shows the picture, then shows the sentences .
