摘要：A prosthesis, useful as implant, comprises a peripheral silicone membrane (1)filled with a number of small individual closed cells (5) with a thin silicone membrane andfilled with a biocompatible fluid, said small cells (5) being distributed around a centralcompartment (4) delimited by a closed, relatively thick silicone membrane (6,7), said
compartment being filled with an adjustable quantity of a physiological solution. Theprosthesis can be adjusted as to its volume and shape by insertion or extraction of liquidinto, or from, the central compartment through a self-sealing silicone membrane withoutthe need of surgery. The prosthesis also overcomes the danger of major loss of fluid dueto leaking or rupture of the membrane.
