One of the most famous snacks is the Suzhou-style mooncake. It is different from the traditional Cantonese-style mooncake, as it is smaller and has a thinner crust. The filling is usually made of lotus seed paste, red bean paste, or a mixture of both. It is a must-try for anyone who visits Suzhou.

Another popular snack is the sweet and crispy fried sesame ball. It is made of glutinous rice flour and filled with sweet bean paste. The outside is coated with sesame seeds and then deep-fried until golden brown. It is crunchy on the outside and soft on the inside, making it a perfect

snack for any time of the day.

Apart from these two snacks, there are also other delicious Suzhou snacks such as the Osmanthus cake, the Wonton soup, and the Fried glutinous rice cake. Each of them has its unique flavor and is worth trying.
