摘要：A storage medium having a read-only portion and a read-writeable portion isprovided at a retail store. Stored on the read-only portion is content for a plurality ofdifferent versions of a motion picture. After a customer has selected the storage medium
at the retail store, data is stored to the read-writeable portion of the storage medium atthe retail store to select one of the different versions of the motion picture for playbackby the customer. A transaction is performed which permits the storage medium to beremoved from the retail store for playback of the version of the motion picture by thecustomer.
