It was a cold Christmas night, and little Clara was helping her family prepare for their holiday party. All of their closest friends were invited! Clara and her brother Fritz were so excited, and they danced and played around the beautiful Christmas tree. In 1998, Ryan Hreljac's class in Kemptville, Ontario, was raising money to dig wells in Africa. The teacher explained that although getting water for most Canadians
was as easy as turning on the TV, many children in Uganda had to walk over three miles each day to collect water for their families. Some children walked up to six hours every day to get water, leaving little time for school - not to mention anything fun!
