摘要：Systems, methods, and devices related to estimating backhaul quality, detectingInternet connectivity, and managing server load are described herein. In some aspects, awireless device is configured to determine a characteristic of an active communicationlink. The device includes a processor configured to determine an allowability foraccessing a server, via the active communication link, based on a first access restriction.The device further includes a transmitter configured to transmit a request for acommunication from the server upon allowability for accessing. The device furtherincludes a receiver configured to receive the communication from the server, over thecommunication link, in response to the request. The processor is further configured todetermine a characteristic of the communication link based on the communication fromthe server.
