National Day Diary。

October 1st, 2021。

Today is the National Day of China, which marks the 72nd anniversary of the founding of the People's Republic of China. I woke up early in the morning and went to the balcony to watch the flag-raising ceremony. The national flag was slowly raised to the top of the pole, and the national anthem was played. I felt a strong sense of pride and patriotism.

After breakfast, my family and I went to the city center to join the celebration activities. The streets were decorated with colorful banners and flowers, and there were many people wearing red scarves and waving national flags. We watched the parade, which featured military troops, cultural performances, and floats representing different provinces and regions of China. It was a grand and

impressive display of national unity and strength.

In the afternoon, we visited a historical exhibition showcasing the achievements of China over the past 72 years. We learned about the progress in science and technology, education, healthcare, and poverty alleviation. It was inspiring to see how much our country has achieved and how much potential it still has.

In the evening, we watched the fireworks show. The sky was lit up with colorful lights and patterns, and the sound of fireworks echoed throughout the city. It was a beautiful and joyful moment, and I felt grateful to be a part of this great country.

Overall, it was a memorable and meaningful National Day. I am proud to be a Chinese citizen and I look forward to the bright future of our country.
