摘要：Diesel engine exhaust gas is cleaned by burning soot to convert the soot intogas. For this purpose the exhaust gas from the diesel engine is caused to travel through ahelical or spiral channel, whereby centrifugal force causes soot particles to collect onradially outer, inner circumferential channel surfaces, where the collected soot iscombusted by heating elements reaching into these channels, preferably into channelpockets.
