摘要：Provided is a technique for improving banknote manageability in a banknotehandling device. This banknote handling device (100) is provided with multiple banknotestorage compartments (71-73) where banknotes are stored, and a banknotes loading
compartment (70) where banknotes are stored that are to be loaded in each of thebanknote storage compartments (71-73). This banknote handling device (100) is providedwith a banknote determination unit (30) which obtains the serial numbers of banknotes inconveyance between the banknote storage compartments (71-73) and the banknoteloading compartment (70), and a conveyance path (80) which conveys banknotes from thebanknotes loading compartment (70) to the banknote storage compartments (71-73) viathe banknote determination unit (30). Amain control unit (161) of the banknote handlingdevice (100) controls the conveyance path (80), and, while loading the banknotes fromthe banknote loading compartment (70) into each of the banknote storagecompartments (71-73), performs banknote loading processing in which the serialnumbers of the banknotes are obtained from the banknote determination unit (30).
